Played this last weekend with some players from the Open Hearth and really enjoyed it. I'd definitely like to play it again next year and hopefully see some of the other personalities in play.
Took us longer than the proposed time with just 4 players, so we had to conclude after the second round, but that may well be down to playing online rather than in person.
I made a playingcards.io room based on the tarot cards pdf - would it be okay to share that with others? Unlike with character keepers, it's got quite a lot of the game text on it, so I'm unsure...
Go for it! I watched an AP with people from the Open Hearth and found the scenes were reaaaaly long compared to any play I'd seen before. Not a bad thing per se, but defo not something I'd encountered. I'll probs try and revise the guidance going forward. Please feel free to share any creations with others as well - I'd love to see them!
hello, would it be possible to have a single page version? it would make printing much easier.
I'll get to it!
just played this game on Friday night as the Solstice slipped in.
As expected, a great experience and one we wished to build on, perhaps delving into the history of the town, or maybe using it as a jumping off point for another set of escapades…
Oooooh, amazing! I'm excited to see how it all went down. Thank you for recording it <3
this is such a powerful game ❤️🔥
Thank you! Totally flattered that you found it so. I'm slowly working away at the sequel, so watch this space.
Awesome !
I didn't have many details previously because I was still emotional after reading the game, but I really like the tone you gave to the story, the heavy atmosphere, and the different backgrounds.
I also like the mechanic to pick index cards, pretty clever I think!
Keep an eye on the updates here, as I'm working on moving the game onto Tarot-sized cards.
yeah, sounds cool!
